Socio-economic impact of Covid-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is far greater than the health crisis: it is affecting societies and economies at their core. The impact of the pandemic varies from country to country, increasing global poverty, and inequality, making the practice of SDGs even more urgent. Assessing the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on societies, economies and vulnerable groups is fundamental to informing and shaping the responses of governments and partners to recovering from the crisis and to verifying that no one is left behind in this endeavour.
